- Learning Outcomes: (1) Learn the benefits of assessing information literacy attitudes and practices of both new and upperclass students in order to identify focus areas for developing an information literacy program. (2) Find out in which skills areas students are currently making the least improvement in information literacy skills between freshman and upperclass levels in order to identify focus areas for vertically integrating an institution’s information literacy plan. (3) Identify and discuss ways that librarians, administrators, department chairs, and classroom faculty might collaborate in order to effectively integrate information literacy initiatives into the curriculum.
