[edit] What Can You Post Here?
Once you have created an account on this site, you can upload the following types of files:
- Audio files (mp3)
- Excel spreadsheets (xls)
- Flash files (flv, swf)
- Images (gif, jpg, png)
- PDF files (pdf)
- Powerpoint files (ppt)
- Text files (rtf)
- Video files (avi, mov, mpeg)
- Word documents (doc)
Just use the "upload file" link in the left-hand column after you're logged in. Once the file is uploaded, look on the screen for the filename or URL where it's located so that you can link to it from the appropriate page.
Also, we've installed the gflash plugin, so you should be able to use the instructions at http://libraryvoice.com/archives/2006/12/15/embedding-meebo-into-your-wiki/ (start with #4 in the list, as we've done #1-3) to embed a SlideShare show or other Flash file.
